Who didn’t
want to be Cinderella when they were little? And I don’t mean the floor-scrubbing, rag-wearing Cinderella
pre-handsome Prince and ball gown. In this fun how-to tutorial, internet make-up guru Xsparkage opts to recreate
the look the cartoon character is ‘wearing’ when she’s seen in the blue dress in the popular Disney film. Apply
an eyeshadow base or primer on your eye before a ‘drug store’ high street brand blue glitter eyeliner; this
ensures the pigment used has something to stick onto. Blend out towards the crease and don’t worry too much
about this looking perfect at this stage. Choose a light shimmery blue pigment and press it onto the eyelid; the
primer will prevent any fallout which means less mess! A great eye make-up look for blue eyes, this pretty
make-up look has gone down a storm online. Perfect for a fancy dress party, this doll-like face is fresh and
fairly natural-looking. Use a lighter blue shade and blend together, fading out the colours to disguise any
harsh lines. Next, take a shimmery white colour and use in the centre of the lid and as an inner corner
highlight to really open up the eyes. Xsparkage always offers a great many make-up tips in her videos – and this
one is no different. She explains that she applies some of her eye shadows wet for more pigmentation – a tip
worth bearing in mind if you opt for budget brands that may not offer the same colour pay off. A pale eyeliner
is taken underneath the eyes and blended out and false lashes give huge doe-eyes in an instant. Line your eyes
with a black liquid eyeliner and add a slick of pink/nude lipstick to finish.
