LITTLE MERMAID Disney Princess Makeup Tutorial

Little Mermaid Disney Princess Makeup Tutorial

As kids, we all wanted to be a Disney Princess and the red haired beauty Ariel of A Little Mermaid was no doubt one of your favourites. Here, make-up artist Xsparkage shares her top make up tips on how to achieve this doll-like look. Perfect eye make up for brown or green eyes, this stunning blue look is bound to make an impression. Wear to a fancy dress party or amp up your usual make-up and opt for this bold Disney-inspired trend. Choosing to use an 88 Coastal Scents palette, Xsparkage says it offers fantastic colour pay off and a staggering 88 colours. A real budget buy, this palette is ideal for those looking to kick-start their make-up collection without breaking the bank. First, a Coastal Scents eye primer is used to ensure the shadow sticks to the eyelids and stops the colour creasing. A turquoise, sea blue shade is applied to the lid wet to start, followed by a shimmery green shade from another Coastal Scents compact. Apply this directly on top of the previous colour and blend in seamlessly, before taking a darker green, like MAC’s Swimming and add to the outer corner of the eye. Now, reach for a pencil brush and apply a purple/blue shade into the crease, working it in from the outer corner half way across the eye with a blending brush. Line the lower lash line with a black kohl eyeliner and use a slick or two of black mascara for emphasis. Like this look? Xsparkage offers some more make up tutorials just like this one here on the site. Take a look at her Cinderella inspired-look, too. Will you be trying this out? Are you a fan of blue shadow?
